hey i had your shallow pan and rear sump filter instaled. everything works great. no pressure drops from launches (gage seems to be iratic between 80 and 115 at times). when the old pan was droped at about 10k a few small little blue cluch mud streaks were found but fluid was still red. so the bucking thing still happened.
heres the kicker: 2 weeks ago i had my rear end changed from a 3.73 non posi to a gn posi 3.42. since then shifts f#$%ing great?? not a prob in any rpm. converter seems to respond better, launches are good. my thoughts are maybe the conveter / trans dindt like the old rear?? only thing thats got me stumped is why the pressure gage is iratic more times than not. maybe engine rattle.
one other thing (my fault
) i used to get all 4 gears barkin (200-4r) w/ 3.73s w/ 245/60/r15s now gettin 2nd and ocasional 3rd w/ 3.42s 255/60/r15s, but im getting bettter tracktion 
p.s how can i get more filters like the 1 that came in the kit? can i use a stock 700 r4 filter?

hrmm as for the filters let me know they are CHEAP!!!! Maybe it didnt like the rear end? Well.... Honestly???? Fun to think about but I doubt it.
