The Plate Does Not Require The Use Of The Third Accumulator Or Third Clutch Checkballs To Be Installed In The Case. This Greatly Improves Third Gear Clutch Apply With Or Without Dual Feed Direct. The Second And Fourth Clutch Feed Holes Are Also Resized For Improved Performance. Plate Is Manufactured Using Edm Laser Technology And Is Hardened To Reduce Wear At The Checkball Seats. How does this new plate compare to a TCI plate? TCI make an aluminum plate that leaves some holes out and you only need 4 check balls in the case. Just curious. @ least yours is steel and will stand up to the check balls better. Good price !!!!

Lee ive never seen a tci plate.ours looks just like a gm piece except for 2 deleted holes and resized clutch feed passages.
