Test fit of the wheels, I'm definitely going to have to add 1.5" spacers to fill the wheel well, especially since I am putting GNX flares on, but I knew I would.

Looking nice, need the silver door panels to bring it in, but as you can see, I have no doors on, LOL.

145 Speedo, the non tilt column made it a PIA.

Were the 90 degree bracket supposed to be used on the hanger for the mufflers? Because I put them rubber pieces right on the crossmember there? Seems to work but I have to micro adjust everything today.

When I pushed it in the garage I heard something rubbing, either my Duttweiler dirveshaft loop or the mufflers, either way I have to final fit them with a load on the wheels. Has anyone ever had a driveshaft loop that wouldn't adjust out properly? I'm just curious on that, I'm certain if that is what I heard I have room to adjust it.

My kids are sick so I'm stalled up today, but my wife is coming home early and I will be doing the final fitting of the afore mentioned pieces and putting the front clip back on (hopefully.) That's it for this round.

Aren't you concerned about the stress placed on the wheel bearings using 1.5" spacers? That's alot of leverage on the spindles and axles.

I do like the interior and wheel-look. Kudos on those!

No not really, the new type of spacers are balanced and precise, plenty of people are out there using them with no issues. I mean, ideally I would love a wheel that didn't require spacers, and these technically don't, but I'm not too worried about it.

ive run 1.25" adapters on my rear of my GN for years now and have never had a bearing issue, no worries. Car is looking great man, can't wait to see it all together.

Thanks.

Welp, there are good days and bad days, yesterday was a great day, today was a bad day. :(

The good:

-The exhaust is hung and done
-The Tranny is in and all non running functions work
-I fixed the Duttweiler driveshaft loop, it was hitting, it took a jack and a lot of adjusting to get it right though, I wasn't impressed with how close it was, I just put in a brand new tranny mount. But still, they could have given another 1/4-1/2 an inch on top.
-Bought my F-body radiator and received my oil/tranny combo cooler, both look sharp.

The bad:

-The tranny lines kicked my ass, I gave up for today
-I had to take the Xover pipe off.....again
-The power steering fitting for an 87 is different than an 84's, that one stung.

I don't know:

-The power steering and hydroboost is going to kick my ass, no doubt, I'll be reading up on both.
-My memory. I'm owning myself with my bad memory on how the P/S was plumbed, how the tranny lines were routed, and who knows what else I forgot, lol.

Car is looking good Brent. Hang in there and take it one thing at a time. Those tranny lines nearly whipped me too. Wish I had put them in before putting the motor in. If I remember correctly, I had to jack the car up as far off the garage floor to get enough wiggle room to maneuver the lines between the motor and the frame.

If you get stuck, just ask.

What is your biggest concern on the hydroboost? Be sure to post any question on this topic in the brake section. Several of us have been down this road and can hopefully help you through it.

That car is going to be killer when you are done. Its fun watching your progress. Thanks for sharing the pics.
