I am wanting some feedback as to what would be the best upgrades for my 200r4. The transmission is the original and works good w/a shift kit. I am putting a 6765 turbo on the car along with a 3200 stall. I know the stock tranny can't hold up and want to know what the weak points are. I want to strengthen it before its laying all over the pavement, even though I have a new one in the crate sitting in my garage.

How can I adjust my tranny shift points, so that it stops shifting into OD early (between 40-45 mph at regular take off speeds.

I like my trannys to shift at 45ish into OD at normal throttle. But you can shim the OD spring in the valvebody. If they are all shifting earlier than you would like then tighten the TV cable in tiny increments while making sure that the throttle can still go WOT with out the cable flying forward. I would certainly get a billet forward drum, new front pump with a hardened stator and dual feed the 2-3 direct clutches. If you plan on doing the heads/cam etc and pushing for high 10s then i would consider getting a billet input shaft. Some have gone pretty fast with just those hard parts but at that speed I usually recommend a billet OD ring gear and carrier as well.

Chris,
What other parts do I need to hold up behind a 6765 DBB turbo with a 3200 stall?
