Upper Control arm shims

Hey all,
Have a car here with no front suspension..No track of shims was kept.Is there a spot to start at or some kinda reference point to start before it makes itto the front end shop?
Are these shims the same as the body shims?

There are thicknesses from 1/16 to 3/16. Mine looks like it has two 1/16 front and one 1/16 rear on LF; one 1/8 front and three 1/8 rear on RF. They are not like body shims. If you know where you are taking it for alignment, maybe they would front you some shims or at least let you purchase them then credit your bill upon completion.
