UUUHHHHGGGG!! demo mode?

I have loaded my version 1.05 Ccomp WP on my home desktop computer. When it opens it says "demo mode" at the top of the version release box.

I can open and make all the changes I want, but It will not allow any saves at all! It has been loaded on the laptop(same disk) thats kept in the car, and it works fine.

laptop is win95
desktop win 98
help please

The software operates in demo mode until the first time the computer it is installed on communicates with an ECU.

Thank you for the reply. I thought I was screwing something up somewhere. Not a big deal I guess anyway since most of the changes need to be done real time to get results. I wont worry about it. I am just a wuuss and love sitting in the AC with a bigger screen!

Seemed like a good idea at the time(January)!!!!!!

I have learned no matter how bad as your car looks or sounds, people look at you with pity when your at a redlight with sweat running down your face and in your eyes.
