I'd be hard pressed to spend over 2500 for any gbody unless it was turbo buick. Any more than that I'd rather spend double and buy something good:biggrin:

I would not mind having a Gn or T clone... I think I would have a much easier time with dropping a LSX with a turbo in it, than in my GN... I actually chewed out some dumbass kid that had blown up his 6 and dropped in a nice little 350 with a big shot on it... sometimes morons just ruin cars and dont even know it...

Ive seen a few of those around here. I see a grey one every now and then but its beat big time. A shame really. The one good thing about those motors is they run darn near forever. I had one with 150K on it. Still ran great, all original too. Get what you want and dont look back.

That guy probably isn't still looking for that kind of car over two years later........just saying.

OH, and why dont' you just start a thread about selling the dang car instead of randomly posting in other threads??

Not rare or desireable but id take a low mileage one and convert it. The only other cars that would more easily accept the LC2 option are the 84-85 TR's. A 20k mile really nice car would pull $4-5k

My other car is 1987 307 "T" Y56 car and it is converted. I paid only 1K for it and the rest was history. It is factory black with the factory T-rims, and "T" badge. The conversion was kinda a pain in the A$$ cause it was all the little stuff that added up but in the end was well worth the it. I ran it with the 307 in the 1/4 and it ran 15.9....:o....then after the conversion it ran 12.40...:D

I ran it with the 307 in the 1/4 and it ran 15.9....:o....

When you ran the 15.9 in the 1/4 was the 307 stock? Or did it have anything done to it?

I know 15.9 is nothing really to shake a stick at but for a 307 I'd actually say that's respectable....especially after I had my 307 handed it's ass by...:redface:oh never mind you don't even want to know that one. :o

If I could get my hands on one I would! I would also leave it stock for a DD so I could park my WH1!!

At the time I had just put the GN 8.5 rear in the car so that helped a bit, but still was a dog. I had a K&N air cleaner, fiberglass front bumper, and new lower control arms. That netted me a best of 15.9 in the 1/4....it's funny cause when ya get really use to a high 15 sec car and then take a ride in a stock GN, or any other high 13 sec car it feels sooo quick....I remember my buddy coming over and giving me a ride in his '86 grand national which runs mid 11's all day and thinking to myself that this is scary fast like a rocket....that's when I converted to the darkside....:cool:
