I am trying to get some advice on a good turbo size for a 451 ci V8 this would be mainly a street motor. I plan on running around 8-8.5:1 compression. I am looking for something streetable and that would help my Dakota (I know this is a Buick site sorry:) ) run the occasional low 12's in the quarter. Also anyone got any advise on a good EFI system?? Any adice on manifolds or headers would be appreciated . I was thinking of building some log type manifolds out of weld els.

totally the wrong site to ask about Mopar FI in my book, you're probably beterr off with a Dodge site unless you're intending to plunk some serious dough on DFI and even then this probably isn't the best site for your application. A lot of people have gone plenty fast on GM boxes, but that's obviously not a GM so if you're thinking an OE box you need to find people who know about Mopar ones. Just use stock manifolds and polish em a bit on the inside. Should be fine for quite a bit of speed, a turbo doesn't care a ton honestly. Good luck getting the thing to hook, you'll need it too. :D

Check out our "Performance ECM Upgrades" forum here. Lots of other make guys and experts on EFI can help there.

If no response on your turbo question here, check with Limit Engineering or Precision turbo as they both do lots of other applications and can help you.

Thanks for the replies Ill try elsewhere. PS I dont plan on using a oem fi system as there is no such thing for the big block dodge.

Thanks anyways
