I fried the clutches yesterday at Atco.:frown:
Needs clutches, or I would sell the good parts inside...like the trans-brake, hardened forward drum, stator support, inputshaft, A/C N/L converter, and the BRF valve body.
My trans has a total life use of 24,xxxmiles. That's the total milage on my car now, so I feel it should good for someone, just not me. At 10,000 miles or so, I had all the Art Carr stuff installed, and ran up to eighteen runs around 11.1, then the clutches have begun to slip, and I get a flair that makes me hit the rev-limiter and screws up my FAST tuning. I bought a 400, but it will take eight weeks to build.
I was going to have the trans rebuilt for around $750 with new racing clutches. Do yo have any ideas?? Need any of this stuff??
