Vacuum block gaskets and throttle body ?'s

Just wondering where i can order the vacuum block gaskets from. Also is there any diffrence between the 84-85/86-87 throttle body's?

Throttle bodys are quite a bit different.
If in a hurry for a gasket, you can use red Loctite Gasket eliminator instaed of a gasket--works great

when i replaced my vacuum block with an aluminum one, I just used a roll of generic gasket material i had, and used my old one and the underside of the vacuum block as a guide to make a new one... 2 minutes with an exacto knife and i had my gasket. I've had no issues with it leaking or aything.

I just bought a Felpro Intake gasket set from Autozone that included the vacuum block gasket. Would be a bit expensive just for that gasket though!

That will teach me to look before I speak! Your question made me think... "Is it the right one?" Answer... NO! I'm an idiot, sorry for the incorrect post! I guess I'll be pulling out the Exacto knife myself!

If your old gasket is too mangled, or you dont have an old one, and you cant use it to trace out the pattern on your roll of gasket material, and easy way to get the right pattern is to use a stamp pad. Take your vacuum block, and ink the bottom of it up on the stamp pad, then use it like a stamp on the gasket material. That will show you exactly where the little dividing walls inside are. Just be sure to cut the gasket a little wider on each side of the wall, so theres enough material to seal it correctly
