Hey, guys, take a look at the picture below. I'm a little confused about vacuum distribution going to the cruise control and HVAC, pictures right hand center in the middle.

I'm assuming that HVAC referrs to the line coming along the top of the firewall, above the AC box, which has a "L" shaped end to it, pictured here...please correct me if I'm wrong...

And obviously the line from the cruise control is easily found...What is the reference to the "CK VLV" mentioned in the picture? Could someone snap a picture of the junction and the CK VLV?

Basically I removed the EGR components and I'm trying to get vacuum routed to everything that needs it. I do not have any vacuum to the lines under the dash on the inside of the car, and have yet to troubleshoot that problem, but I believe it's stemming from no vacuum supplied to the reservoir under the drivers fender area, which goes into the passenger compartment.

OK...you need this check valve...the rubber elbow in your hand attaches to port #1....port #2 goes to the cruise control...port #3 is from the EGR valve...which you don't have...so run a vacuum line from the metal vacuum line that has a 90 degree angle and face the firewall...run that vacuum line to port #3...not sure if you really need the black/white check valve in that line but I left mine in...and it works fine...better to be safe than sorry...

Here's a pic of mine...EGR gone...pic is kind of dark but you can get the idea of where the check valve is located...it's right against the firewall where the ground wire attaches...the yellow circles show 1) the vacuum line with the 2-way valve connected to the hard line in front and 2) the location of the valve in the previous pic...

Sorry forgot to attach the pic...here it is...

FWIW, I believe that check valve was specifically designed to keep from exploding the heater control valve behind the HVAC panel and the CC diaphragm when under boost. I've seen it happen many times on cars where someone has eliminated the EGR and removed that check valve and distribution valve.

You guys so ROCK!!! This is the information I'm needing. This car was cobbled together so bad, it's been one mess after another....

Do you guys know where I can get that valve??

Meh, I got my replacement valves at NAPA. (that's why the check valve before my EGR is not the factory 2 port type.

How I'm going to explain that valve to a parts monkey at Napa is beyond me...

"Vacuum check valve"

They have them on the rack out on the floor. They are among other misc crap like door handles, strikers, other vacuum parts, etc etc.
