When taking the engine out of the car, and then the body off the frame, most of the vacuum lines were so brittle that they all shattered. Brittle fracture? Anyways.

What are ya'll using to replace the lines? I figure just using rubber hose to slip over what is still left, but I want to see what you guys are using.

Thanks.

Unless I am missing something, why would you put new vacuum hose over old brittle hose? Just get new stuff from any parts store.

The lines that run in the car are in pretty good condition. So I think that I will use them.

Can you still buy vacuum line for the Regals? I would rather not buy some universal stuff, unless it is really easy to work with. Thanks.

All of the hard plastic lines are discontinued from GM. I know what you mean, I hate that cobbled look too and heres what I did. If you have access to a large GM dealer in you area run down there and see if someone will look thru the bins for a vacuum line kit for the HVAC on a late model truck. The truck line kits are usually black and made out of the same plastic and they are cheap. I think the one I used was from a late 90's Astro and cost about $15.00. Just remove the rubber boots off your old lines and cut the new lines to fit.
