Getting ready to buy some gauges. Is it worth getting a 30in to 25psi gauge, or should I just get a 30 psi boost gauge.

Thanks for the input.

I run this one as I can see lots of vacuum when decelerating and I know if I ran 27 psi boost or so

I'd say 30/30. But if you plan to run over 25 I'd get a 35psi gauge.

Easy to diagnose a vacuum leak with the vac/boost gauge. If I see less than 17" then I go hunting under the hood and 90% of the time find it.

Boost/ vacuum is really the way to go. The vacuum gauge part is a great diagnostic tool. I'd go 30/30 on the gauge readings so you will not have a need to replace, unless you change colors! ;)

Excellent point that most of the new guys don't know....I wish I'd known this years ago when I started out...

Ordered one up

VDO was back ordered.

I didnt want to waste the money on a sunpro so I opened the wallet and got a autometer ES, 30in to 20 psi. Only a street car for now, and 20 psi shold give me better resolution. When I man up and go alky, I will have to get the 30psi gauge.

Thank you guys for the help in making up my mind.

Get the 30/30 gauge if not to late.

I only drive on the street and at 20 psi boost and the alky is not turned on yet.;)

Also have the vac/boost combo gauge....figure the GNX had it, it's 2 gauges in one (sort of), lets you keep tabs on vacuum....might as well have it IMO.

Too late, already on its way. In maine the best we can do is 91 here. I would guess 20 would be really pushing it.
