Valve adjustement

I'm putting a set of roller rockers on my car and need to know the proper way to adjust them. The last time i adjusted valves i took all the lash out then went a half a turn more but that was on a small block chevy. Is the buick the same way.

1/2 to 3/4 turn, right around there is good.
