What, if any finish was originally on the stock Buick cast valve covers when new? Plain cast with glass bead or some thin coating? Anyone have luck polishing these or no because are they pot metal or low grade aluminum? Do'nt want to waste a lot of time on these, is painting or jet hot coating the best way to go? plain they get grungy quick.
