Valve cover gaskets

Is there an easy way to replace the v/c gasket on the PS on a hot air?
Do the up and down pipes have to be removed?

It's been a while with the stock DP but . . . I don't think the exhaust needs to be removed.

Disconnect the plug wires at the coil.

Why disconnect ign. wires at coil?
Does a/c comp. have to be moved also?

Easier to get to the coil than #6 plug.
No need to mess with the AC or alternator.
