Valve Spring for a Comp 218/218 Flat Tappet?????

Time to replace valve springs again. I can't remember if im suppose to use comp 980's or 981's. I know the 981's have more seat pressure.

Anyone know?

I used the Kirban valve springs on my stock heads with that same cam for a couple of years and I had no problems. Worked great. Good cam for top end and never had valve float with these springs.

I called comp and they told me to use the 981's.
