Bought a Turbonetics Variable Boost Controller Regulator. I have some questions. Do you remove the GM boost controller that is mounted on the right side valve cover? Do you line from wastegate actuator to valve and one line from port on on boost side of turbo housing? Do you keep the y vac fitting on any of these lines that run from actuator or boost port? I'm using a Ta-49 with stock actuator.

Not sure that you can use the Turbonetics VBC with a stock actuator; I believe you have to have an actuator with a port on each side of the diaphragm like external wastegates have. You should be able to use a boost controller like the one RJC Racing sells. The difference is that the RJC one is basically like an adjustable spring-loaded check valve while the VBC is an actual air pressure regulator. They work differently from each other and therefore are plumbed differently, which unfortunately is why I can't answer your question fully (I have an external 2-port WG with the VBC.) As far as your stock wastegate solenoid, you'll be disconnecting the boost lines from it but I believe unless you have a TurboTweak chip as I do it will throw a code if you unplug the wiring harness from it. Hope this helps...
