Propietary design 10.5" 4 disc Mercedes Benz torque converter with a 4 disc carbon fibre clutch pack and billet piston to lock turbine to input shaft.Clutch pack is turned on and off via a solenoid and direct supply of oil.There is no change in converter charge or cooler flow when locked or unlocked.Stall speed of prototype converter as tested was 2800 on the transbrake,and anywhere we wanted up to 4000 RPMS activating the converter charge regulator valve.Converter as tested at 1250 rwhp resulted i@ wot in high gear took .3 seconds to apply and resulted in a 290 rpm drop.Car has picked up.4 seconds so far .Now that we have the 3rd successful working unit we will get rid of the frankenstein valve body and pump halves and get on track to start the CNC process over the fall and winter,God willing we will have them all over the country next year winning races.I will keep all of you up to date as the project nears its end,and new beginning.
