Guys, that my z28. And yes, the evo was making mid 600's, that night. I hate imports, but thats just a bad mofo! Gonna do some more mods, try to get in the 650ish range with heads and more bottle and see if i can take em out! Wish me luck!

noo hes claiming 600 hp at the wheels,. With an awd transfer case and transmission to power thru hes got more like 675 hp!!! LOL...., thats why Im ROTFLMAO

friging dreamers.. Every dyno day that I have been to there were guys puffing out their chests telling how much hp that make.. Guess what? Not one car was ever close to their extravagant dreams. Just like this evo kid.. In fact it took a NOS 600 cu in hp BB to make over 600 wheel hp at one dyno day..

Check out this EVO, this is the real deal. Over 300 dyno passes and many drag strip runs along with being a street runner. I would say the drivetrain can take it and put it down.

This car made over 900whp with the giggle juice recently and it was blowing the tires off the dyno with 2 guys sitting on the front end.

These guys know what to do, but it will cost you big $$$.

Scary part is wait till the Ecotec motors start popping up in more racers hands, its going to go well beyond this.

If your a fan of motorsports, then it doesn't matter what badge is on the hood of the car. Fast is fast, period. That car that some people laugh at will give them a rude awakening. I have a GN and a turbo integra powered by a SC61 turbo and 75lb injectors. I love hearing foolish drival about being rice by other non import cars. But as soon as we race power to weight takes over with close to 500fwp and I put a huge gap between us. They don't et as well as they mph but on the fly its gonna take over 120+mph to pass me. Not many cars on the street that run that kinda mph on pump gas. My GN is much faster, but the Integra is more then just straight line. Being one dimensional in this day and age seems foolish given todays technology. There are tons of sleepers out there crusing the streets, and half these kids carry camcorders with them just to make a statement and put it on the net.

I don't know why you are finding this so hard to believe considering you have a turbo car. We dynoed one of my Toyota Supras this weekend ( a 1997 twin turbo 6 spd. from the factory) now has a single 67 mm. turbo, complete fuel system with 85 pph injectors, a set of HKS cams, and 4 in. intake and exhaust. We made 626 RWHP and 570 RWTQ. on 1.8 bar or 26 psi. All the mods on this car totaled right around $4000. Don't get me wrong I also Have a Stage Powered GN so I'm not biased here, I will ride anything that is fast. Those EVO's are impressive cars as well, and I can certainly believe 600WHP. if it was set on kill. Not trying to start a war here, just stating the facts, it's very possible the little 4 banger made 600 whp. Drew

IMO doesn’t matter if its Rice, another GN, Cobra Mustang or LS1. You will eventually run into someone faster than you.

In a street show down you better just make sure you have the bigger gun or you will get spanked, get over it.

because I HAD a mitsu 2.0 turbo car years ago and could not keep the trans in the car with 1/2 that hp.. I know how weak they are..
Now th Supra., That I believe.. I know how strong that drivetrain is.. Fantastic car.. The Mitsu? forget it.. Thats why they are going out of business. They will not fix warranty claims on the EVO cause so many of em are breaking..

Some of this sounds like "nice monte carlo" type stuff. It's time to start taking these guys serious, because they are taking it serious as a heart attack. I would hate to see some pink slips being given up due to pride rather than showing some respect for what these guys are really doing.
One big advantage they have with the aftermarket and race parts is, there are millions of these things around and a very lucrative market, versus the Buicks with 20,000 or less cars still around.
