Those Somalians were denied their basic rights. No Miranda, no lawyer present, no nothing.

Not only that but then the Russians illegally seize and burn their boat without so much as a thought about what kind of environmental damage they might be causing.

Hopefully our Government will ask the U.N. to look into that whole affair and issue the Russians a stern reprimand.

Maritime laws says that the captain of a sanctioned vessel can try and excecute pirates. There is basically no law on the high seas and it's pretty much every boat for themselves. The Russians were well within their rights and I was waiting for them to start the excecutions while they had all the Somalies kneeling with their backs turned, not saying they SHOULD have, just suprised they didn't.
