Video tape conversion suggestions....

I have an original tape of 1960's drag racing in the Midwest.
It's on a 3M T60 videocassette.
I am looking to have it duped to cd's so I can share them with others that may have an interest.
What would be the best way to do this?
I know there are companies that do this. My concern it gets damaged/lost.
Ideas please.

What kind of outputs does the player have? What youre trying to do is pretty trivial.
