Hey guys,
Can someone educate the ignorant....... me...... I see some people saying they are running a "0 pump" converter...... and some say a "6 pump" (I think). What in the wide world of sports..... are they referring to?
I am about to order a vigilante for my 2004R in my '87 GN and need to know what is the difference so I can make an educated decision on what I need.
I really want a converter that stalls enough for a TE45A on a stock displacement engine. I currently am about to install a TE61 with a Garrett .63 exhaust housing. I need enough converter fotr this combo...... but want a converter that has enough for the TE45A too. I don't mind if I really have a little too much converter for the 61.... after all..... she will lock-up for my street driving (95% street).
Educate me please.
