Where is the vin # located on the 3.8 engine block and where on the frame of our cars?

Not sure about frame,but motor vin is on the side edge of block down low by where the trans bolts up.can't remember if its left or right side.Hope this helps!

Passenger side if memory serves me correctly.

YA just talked to a friend of mine and he said that it should be there on the frame but could be wnder the firewall or father down under the rockers

The VIN is on the drivers side frame rail. Between mounts #2 and #3.Only the last 6 digits are stamped on top of the rail. Impossible to read. If it was a street driven car than you need to clean the dirt and rust off to read it, and than that's with the tub off the frame.
