Brakes that is...

My GN is still riding on it's original brakes front and rear. Wheels have been off 1 time to replace the original hard as a rock Eagle GTs! I have never even repacked the wheels bearings ouch!

We're talking about 23K miles over 16 years. It's been so long I forget where to start Where's a good source for the pads and shoes that I will need? Any chance the bearings will need to be replaced or just repacked? Should I flush out the old brake fluid and replace it with the "new" type fluid? Anything else to consider Sorry for all the questions on such a basic topic.

Gm stuff worked fine for me for the first few brake jobs.

Check the grease if necessary repack.

Definately bleed the old fluid out of there until fresh stuff runs clear. I still use DOT 3 with the powermonster. Buy the large bottle for the flush out.

Bearings should be fine.
