I added a volt booster.... Driving down the road the volt light flashed on and off kinda of blinky and dim a few times... parked it over weekend. went to start....battery was dragging pretty bad. Coincidence?

I just had a battery fail. It was at least 5 y.o. Probably the cold weather got to it. Yours is probably just a coincidence. I have a volt booster with no issues.

Take the belt off and spin the pulley if it squeaks the alternator is done.Usually a battery is good for 5 years as stated then on borrowed time.

It will squeak if spin in the wrong direction...make sure you go the correct rotation

1.) Double check the insallation of the volt booster, loose wires, etc.
2.) Check the alternator output, if it's going bad it will cause the battery to drain. Replace if necessary with a quality unit.
3.) Test the battery, and replace if necessary.

ok, thanks.... I drove the car around the neighborhood... all was fine then about 10 minutes into driving... the volt light came on... I watched the SM it was showing 10.4 to 11 volts.... I think it was on the battery for the first 10 minutes... I believe the alt is going bad.....

Take the alt. off and most places will test it for you. Make sure volt booster is hooked up right or try hooking it back up stock and see if it charges.
