Can anybody tell me what voltage I should be seeing on my scanmaster while driving? I am getting low 13s and it will sometimes dip to 12.9 or so.

In the Florida heat with a 200 Amp alternator and a brand new battery I typically see mid 13s at idle. With the factory alternator I would see Low 13s to high 12's just driving around. Both values worked but I prefer keeping the volts mid 13 plus.

Ok

ok thanks a lot, just wanted to make sure

Scanmaster is not very accurate with voltage readings, depending on where you are asking it to read from. My SM will indicate 12.7-14.1 and I will go to the fuse block and read 13.6 consistently, and 13.9 at the battery/alternator at all times.

Ok good to know, i just wanted to make sure I wasn't dropping too low, thanks for the info

More specifically the wiring does not transmit voltage very well to the ECM. The scanmaster reads what is present on the ECM feed which is unfortunately not the same as battery voltage

Is there a way to remedy this? What about voltage at the fuseblock?
