vortec head ?

ok I have a set of heads that im lookin at that are very very nice(ported/polished vortec heads from rpm) that are complete. Just a little more than I had planned to spend but...Im still thinkin about them. I already have a set of vortecs that need to be drilled and the intake welded and there already off the truck. I have a set a ferria valves compcam 412 cam, and 50# injecs that i will install too. Im trying to compare the cost of building my heads vs these already complete heads. I guess I need pushrods/rockers/springs and a intake gasket. Anyone have an idea what all this stuff will cost or suggestion on parts? Im assuming ill need a valve job to get the valves to work on the stock vortec heads? Iv never built a set of heads so I have no clue.

Sell your valves and get that setup.

The vortecs are top of the line , especially an RPM setup ... until you hit the NEXT level of Brodix or Bowtie heads ( $3k+ ) ---
