im trying to get an idea of what would be involved with changing the shift rpm on my gn. i know that i have to modify the govenor, and ive searched...but i havent found any one talking about where the gov is located. could anyone clue me in on where its located, or perhaps show a pic or two. thanks in advance. :) also if i have to cut the gov down does anyone know of some sort of table or chart showing the amount of material removed and how much each ammount would affect the shift rpm.

It is located inside the tranny pan... toward the rear of the tranny near where the speedo cable hooks up except inside the pan...held in place by the "govenor cover".

HTH

one more question, does anyone make a ready to buy lightened govenor for the 200-r4 that i can just install and go? id rather buy a gov with the correct ammount of weight than rough guess it and shift way too high...or not high enough. i just would rather do the gov once and be done with it.
