Well guys i want to the track , and yes i know i have some problems but i just had to. I put 13 gal of 110 cam2 in and set the boost at 23-24 psi :eek: . I have a leak at the turbo and uppipe that i did not get to seal up before i want but it was running pretty good. I ran my 275 50 15 bf drags at 25 psi. I still run the turbo 350 tranny to with a 1800-2000 stall. Iam running a ta49 now and this is what i got tonight.

one more thing i was running out of gear at the end , i had to really push it to keep going , it even backfired at the end and i let off some. I think i could have picked up another mph or two.
 
i just went 12.58 @ 107 w/1.78 60'.

so if you get a decent 60'(1.7/1.8)you are looking at an easy low 12.lower the pressure in your tires to ~18-19 psi and get em hot.launch with as much boost as they'll hold.

i doubt you're running out of gear,all auto trannies have a 1:1 3rd gear.you were probably going lean,any o2's/egt's/kr #'s?

what chip did you run(how much timing)?

I still have the tci stall in it so it has bad lag still and wont even spin the tires thats why i left the tire press up . The chip is a jl 93 with 20* of timing. The o2s where in the 770-780s. I guess that 110mph is not to bad for a exhuast leak and using the stock headers still. My maf is still reading in the 140-180 gps tho .

with these parts i hope it helps the motor up.

you'll get there you just have some problems with you car right now that stall that you got in your car is to small for your car and you got that turbo 350 trans
 
If it makes you feel better...

the TM test car ran 12.90 with ATR headers, uppipe-downpipe, TA-54, 9" converter, R108 chip? Dont remember, 114 octane race fuel, with the TM V2 stock-87 intercooler

If you got stock headers and are about to pull 12.90s yourself, i'd say you're doing well..

Get that maf on there and fix tem leaks!

About running lean, thats probably right, if the MAF sees 180 GPS and its really getting enough for a 255 reading, it's going to take out fuel and cause you to run lean (popping)
 
I ran 12.65 last year with a ta33 and stock intake and headers, now i have 50lb injectors, ta49, tm intake, powerstroke intercooler . I think with the right trans and stall so i can jump off the light and if the headers help any it will go high 11's low 12's. I can run with 12 sec cars now and pull them .


what do you think i can get now with a good 60'.
 
I'm surprised your car runs as good as it does with the MAF reading that low. Mine is at 254GPS from 1/2 throttle and up. Get it fixed and I'm sure you will see some big gains. You have similar mods to mine minus the headers when I ran 110.3mph except I did it with 13psi boost, and a plugged convertor so you definately have a lot more to gain, probably another 10mph or so with it running right and tuning. That combo should go close to 120mph fully dialed up.

maf , translator, the right chip made for the car, hooker headers, and i hope the trans and 2800 stall will be ready to go with in the next week or two. I hope it all help. I would love to see a 11'sec time slip.
 
your not going to know what do if you gain that much:D . 120mph in the 1/4 you going to s... yourself:eek: . hope to see some 11 sec time slip for you to
 
get it strait by nov 10th so you can bring it to the import / domestic shootout at budds creek...

btw: im not going to blow my pump seal out this year :D
 
only steps left.. fix the lil probs (stall), then just tune your way to 12.0s

Just ran 12.66 at 106.78 mph with a 1.86 60foot, so 110 should be 12.4 if you hook and run with the right maf readings. You'll get there.
 
Iam waiting to get the price on fixing my trans so i can order my translator and chip made for my combo. I'll have the headers on and the 2800 stall this time and maybe a race chip so i hope this helps.

I ran 41 psi fuel pressure and 23psi boost , it seems a little low on the fuel press for that kind of boost but my o2s said 780-790s , so i think when the maf comes and get it in it will help.


Reds let me know if you are going and i'll be there. I have some work to do this week before i can hang with some of those guys. Do they still rent the track at mir for the day. If so i was thinking about getting some people up and hit the track.
 
Nocooler how do you like that translator plus and LT1 maf. Did it help the car out as much as every one says it will.
