My supply is short, but before I go get some from a vendor I figure I'll check here first to see if anyone want to deplete some of their stock.

TIA

Good luck! Let me know if you find a big stash:)

They are used alot in the old arcade games. Try to find someone who deals in vintage or surplus arcade game service/repair

87GN_70GS, 10-4, thanks for the tip, I'll look around. As I recall, all the ns options (200, 250, 400) are fine, correct?

SGRIM, will do. Totally unrelated, I LOVE the GN night shot on Buicks!. Fabulous!

What of 2732s? OK to use as long as I go 25V rather than 21V for programming (and don't mix 'em up!)? I'm finding a lot of 2732s.

TIA!

2732s are okay.. they just tend to take most programmers a lot longer to program them.

I don't do any actual programming, just burning, for the most part. The most I'll do is change a couple parameters using CATS and then save & burn. I don't really program. Actually, it is mostly just emissions chips for friends.

To clarify

Most burners tend to take longer to program 2732s. You're talking 4-5 minutes to burn a 2732 versus 30 seconds for a 2732A.

I found these, but I don't have enough experience buying eproms to know what would be correct. None list the ns, but are there any that would be too slow?

Here is one vendors' listing:

1) EPROM 4Kx8 AM2732ADC 2732 PULL - AM2732ADC EPROM 2732 PULL - $2.99

2) EPROM 4Kx8 AM2732B-455DI 2732B PULL - AM2732B-455DI EPROM 2732B PULL - $1.99

3) EPROM 4Kx8 AM2732DC 2732 PULL - AM2732DC EPROM 2732 PULL - $2.99

4) EPROM 4Kx8 AM2732DC AMD Ceramic DIP EPROM 4Kx8 AM2732DC AMD Ceramic DIP - 4Kx8 AM2732DC AMD Ceramic DIP - $14.99

5) EPROM 4Kx8 D2732A 2732 PULL - D2732A EPROM 2732 PULL - $2.99

6) EPROM 4Kx8 M2732A-2FI 2732A PULL - M2732A-2FI EPROM 2732A PULL - $2.99

7) EPROM 4Kx8 NMC27C32HQ-45 27C32 PULL - NMC27C32HQ-45 EPROM 27C32 PULL - $2.99

1, 5, & 6 seem correct to me (2743As). 2, 3, & 4 might be fine as 2732s. 7? No idea.

BTW, I found a couple sites that *say* they have thousands.

Probably any of those will work as long as your programmer will write to them.

I personally would avoid the AMDs if you can. Theyre wider than other EPROMs and harder to get in and out of the carriers.

I'll try. :)

I found a few bulk purchases (20-40 lots) at ~$1.25/per that are mixed vendors, though at that price I wouldn't care if there were a few AMDs.

quick question for ya guys, can you use a 2532? I have a handfull of blanks that I got from work.

I found a seller on Ebay (best_deal2002) and picked up 60 2732As for $60. Arrived today, 6 AMDs, most of the rest are Intel. I think I'm set for the rest of my TR life. :)

He has no more currently listed, but the listing was for 2732s, and when I asked if he had 2732As he said yes, and could ship those instead, which he did. Shoot him a note and see if he has more.

Good luck!
