That sucks ,
You would think that the original guy would just wan't make things right?I guess it is true good guys end last  Sorry Rick I hope you get things fixed with this.

Bob, it is sad that you had to fix it. That is a messed up deal all the way around but I don't think I would hesitate buying from anyone here other than innovative....

Now I see why everyone has switched over to PLX. I remember when the LC1 was a very hot item and everyone was using them including myself a while back. The one I had worked flawlessly. I was gonna use another one (the one I bought from Steve V) but decided to go with a stock maf and o2 for now. What happened to Innovate???

I'm having issues with one I installed in a car. They use freaking mini-audio jacks to connect the gauge and lc1. WTF?? I will never buy another...that's for sure. Of course I did the old internet search afterwards and I was not the first one bitching about those connections.

when they work, they work fine. I have not had any issues with mine in a very long time. But they seem to have a fair number of infant mortalities.

Dunno, I like mine, but might be tempted to try something else if I ever need to buy another one.

Note that AEM has a similar product (built into the cable). I wonder if theirs is any better.

Bob

My friend will be testing one of the AEM's soon. It looks similar to the LC-1 (which I had one that NEVER worked right and got rid of for a Powerdex that works great).

I had to order another lc1 controller to replace this one. I am very confident that there will be no issues. I would even be willing to place a bet before it gets here.

Don't know why others have so many problems. Maybe a bad batch. Maybe user error. Non the less, if you plan on buying a used one of a board member, make sure they are willing to stand behind it.

Bob, go with the one that all of us that use them know. PLX simple hook up, MUCH better controller that doesn't require calibrations.

Oh, and BTW, they work.

No calibrations for the AEM either.
