I am currently running 2 turbonetics deltagate wastegates on the factory crossover pipe. My question is i am looking to run a newer wastegate can i just run a single wategate on the crossover instead of 2 ? Also is there a certain spot on the crossover where it should be placed. Thanks

Guy I bought the car from did that about 15 years ago. I am looking to just run a single more modern wastegate. Car will be running about 30 #s on 93 and alky.

I see. My conundrum was running WG's before the turbo actually saw full pressure from both exhaust manifolds so in reality the system was reading off of just one cylinder bank and not both before entering the turbine housing. Lord knows I am no expect so please take my input as just inquisitive and not negative.

Happy boosting brother. ;)

Thats a old school set up. 2 gates were used because they are so small that 1 would not do the job by itself.

I would get another crossover pipe and go back to stock or external gate down pipe.

Depending on the size of the gate you went with you could do a single .. but I would vent it off the header or turbine not the Xover .... single can take care of your needs no problem if sized correctly
