Wastegate question.......

Hey guys, I need to buy a new exhaust elbow with a larger wastegate puck to fit my new te-44 turbo. What are my options?

I would like to have a ported one that flows better than stock, obviously.

Also now my adjustable wastegate will not fit to the new turbo, what are my options for a new boost controller, weighing ease of installation and reliability?

Check with TurboMike to see if he has any large puck ported stock elbows.

I bought one a while back he may have more.

I like the stock wastegate system with a BSTC controller. I would get the actuator stock type spring that fits the turbo.

You can send your original elbow to Conley's Performance to be ported, polished and enhanced with a larger puck for less than the cost of a new unit.

The actuator will fit your new turbo. You just have to be inventive. Use a Dremel tool to modify mounting brackets. No new parts to buy. How's that for ease of installation?
