water inside car

Hey guys i need a little help , maybe you guys have had this problem before. Every time it rains i get water on the pass side floor and under the dash on that side like its coming from under the hood and in the dash to the floor . But were would it be coming from . This thing is making me crazy . I do have t tops but they look ok and i never see any water up there . Do you think its coming from the vents under the hood by the window.

any help would be great

I also have water on the floor when it rains,just a little but enough to make me and .I think it is coming from the heater/ac box.Do you still have the hood cowl seal on?Mine is off and was wondering if maybe that has anything to do with it.My windsheild was replaced last year too and it stil leaked.Oh yeah,solid roof here so we can rule that one out.

most of the time it heat/ac box related

pull the wide molding off at bottom of windshield and see how the sealer for the box to firewall looks .

you can take a screwdriver or putty knife and scrap it down and seal it back up
i use ultra black rtv and it works great

also check the drain in the bottom of the box...easiest way is to pull the mesh cover off and look down in it ...at the bottom on the frontside there is a rubber flap that lets rain run out ...they do get cloged up.

I had that exact leak too....

I re-sealed the heater / AC box against the firewall - used black roofing tar for that. Prolly shoulda used RTV

No leak now....

Never checked my drain though.
