Here's my Regal running a 10.82 @124

That's me in the black shirt down in the right corner watching RJ Reynolds peddle the car...

We were chasing gremlins all day long.

The next pass I was driving and the cam sensor gear pin sheared at the starting line, ending the day for us.

Late Friday night some POS thief broke out the window in Lou Czarnota's Z06 in a Safeway parking lot trying to steal his radar detector so we had to get home, diagnose the issue with my car, fix it and then replace the door glass in Lou's 'Vette so he could drive back to CA on Sunday. Thank goodness one of my co-workers was able to get us a piece of OEM glass on Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend!

Thanks to Lou for coming out to support me and the car and also to RJ for all of his help.

This was my first WCN and I hope to participate in many, many more! Thanks to Nick for putting it all together and a big thank you to all of you for the many kind words about my car, too. What a great bunch of people all you folks are!

Sorry we didn't make the Famous Dave's gig guys....:(

Guy, That is a great car you own. It sure came out nice & one of my favorite. glad I had a chance to be part of it. Thanks for the good time. Lou

I would have made it but had to do some extra work over the weekend. Sorry Fella's, I was really looking forward to it. =-(

Thanks Lee, it was actually a 10.26 @ 131, it is amazing what will happen when you fix all the vacuum leaks.

No fancy BALL BEARING turbo, It is a Limit 45A with a Garrett 63 housing.
1.51 60ft off the foot brake.
28-9 MT Slicks.
No shifting, put the column shift in drive and go.

be sure

to let "Chopper" know how well his turbo works!!!!!!;)

way to go Dennis!

Dennis pulled a fast one on me. We have had a friendly rivalry for the past couple of years. Even though he has gone 10.72 to my 10.95, he usually doesn't push the boost the way I do and runs 10.90 - 11.20, which makes for very close heads up competition.

When Dennis arrived on Saturday the first thing he said to me was that he wanted to grudge race. We made several passes where he was not able to complete the pass due to hoses popping off. When he finally got everything fixed he was ready for me.

You can see in the photos at the top of the post that I got the jump on him, but just past the 60ft mark he flew by me and continued to put car lengths on me. I immediately scanned my gauges thinking something was wrong, but everything checked out and the car was still pulling. I wasn't sure what to think until I picked up my time slip and discovered he ran a 10.26 to my 11.15. At that point I knew he had made a major change, I just didn't know what it was.

When we got back to the pits everybody was standing around having a good laugh at my expense. It turns out Dennis recently purchased one of Dick Kerney's TSM engines and managed to keep it a secret.

I will be gunning for him once I get the new car running with my TA motor.
