As far as the 'relating' to service goes......my father's father was in the US army during WW II, my mother's father was in Hitler's navy in WW II, my brother has spent time in the middle east, etc. etc. on down the lines to distant cousins. You know the difference? They're all convinced that they're tough guys. I pay $75 a month for an academy up the road to make me feel like a tough guy....and I get to take my a$$ home with me after class!! Seriously though, I have alot of respect for our soldiers (the ones who don't carry themselves like they're the raddest thing on legs), I just other things to do myself.
Carlsbad Raceway? Oh hells yes! If the folks that have my car are done with threbuild soon enough, I'm think about bringing the GN.......brother lives 5 minutes from the track.

I'll be visiting in Oceanside on the 19th and 20th of June for sure, but I'm not sure when I'll be going to the track. I'm hearing now that Carlsbad Raceway is closed/is closing......any truth to that? I hope the GN is coming with, full hi-perf rebuild should be done this week!! I've spoken to a few members of the boards who like like to meet at a track, but nothing official yet.

They have been talking about shutting down carlsbad for years. The last I heard it was still up in the air..I'm easy to spot at the track, look for the 6'6" dude with the black buick or gold pontiac.
