I had a couple of questions about my winter build up project.

I honed the engine and put new rings in last year on my stock rods and pistons. Checked the crank out and it looks like it will need to be turned.

I would like to switch over to a forged crank (stock stroke WRE crank)

Questions. I would like to get the crank internaly balanced, they will do this but do I need to re-balance my stock rods and pistons as well then?

Any one done anything close to this. Any input would help. I would like to put the engine back together myself again. Just my preference.

Project thoughts:

WRE crank
Stock rods and pistons
stock caps
RJC girdel, ARP mains
Line hone the mains
BHJ balancer
JWC flex

Just want to build a reliable 11 flat engine.

Thanks Guys

get your stock crank cut 10/10 and 2 billet center mains and recon the rods with arp bolts good for 10's
