weight savings where?

Hey all, i am going to the track tomorrow and sunday, i want to remove my backseat, and firemat, spare, jack, and anything else in the trunk, can anyone mention anything i cant take out for NHRA rules? i hear i need to leave the pass seat in though. do i need to cover my back seat area with anything?

Unless you have a battery or fuel cell in the trunk, you should be OK to take your back seat out.

I don't recommend removing the spare tire. Running less gas works better. You want as much weight as possible on the right rear tire.
