weird trans shift points

something happed odd last night. I have always had the TV cable adjusted almost all the way out to make the shift points just right. I alwys thought that was odd because I have Bruces high pressure regulator kit installed.. Last night on the way back from a show I nailed it hard and it downshifted and flew off fine. After that it seemed my trans pressures went thru the roof. The part throttle shifts were late and very fast and 4th gear would not come in.. Other then that it was fine. So I got home and readjusted the tv cable to about mid point and it started to rain so I never got a chance to test it. Could a piece of dirt or something be partically blocking a passsage reducing the pressure and it finally came out ?? Is this possible?

Anything is possible...But stuck TV valve is the most common. Or spring in gov may have cocked and you got lucky and it fell back in. BUT... Anything is always possible..

okay I have problems..
I adjusted the TV all the way in to lower the pressure with the same results.. VERY late part throttle shifts (3300 rpm) and NO shift into od. Sometimes, when I stop, it starts off in second too. oh boy.

BRUCE-- Could the high pressure regulator that I had installed have somehow partically came out or something??

Anyone have any ideas??
