Merry Christmas to all!

I have done lots of searching, but there seems to be alot of controversy on backspacing. I have MT E/T Drag's (28x10.5x15) and I want to run a 15x10 draglite with 4.5RS. The RS should be correct if i'm not mistaken? I also want to run a 15x10 on the street with BFG 275/50/15's would this be 4.5RS as well? Or should I just run a 15x8 with 3.5RS. I once bought a set of american racing wheels for the slicks. They were 15x8's with 4RS and they were slammed up against the frame. Any help would be appreciated

The 4.5 in BS 10in wheel should work with the slicks you mention. The 8in ,3.5 bs wheel will be better for the 275/50 tire.

Thanks louie! I'm also gonna run a 15x4 draglite up front, is 2 1/4 RS correct? That is the only one they offer.

I run both the 12.5x28 ET Streets and the 10.5x28 ET Drags on 8" rims with 3.5 BS. I have bout 1/4-1/2" of space between the tire and the frame. I also did research before I bought my tires and some get away with the 4.5" BS, I measured it and it looked too close on my car so I got the 3.5 BS. All is well and looks mint!

Sorry but it won't work. I had the same slicks on a 4.5 bs wheel. I had to run over 1/2" of spacers. I bought some 3.5 bs wheels for the slicks and no problems. I then put my 275/60's on the 4.5 bs wheels and they fit great too.

You see a 15x8 rim with 4RS doesent fit with the slicks on my car.

Doug,
Thats why I said they should work. Rich Rezes has the 15x10s with 4.5 bs in his car. This wheel will not fit in every car. I believe jason cramer uses the same tire combo in his.

SO 3.5RS will bring the slick closer or farther away from the frame?
(15x10's)

3.5 will take it away from the frame, but at a 15x10 3.5 bs ,it will stick out of the wheel well.

My Weld 15x10's with 4.5 BS with 28.5x15x10 slicks fit fine, in fact sent Louie pics awhile back.

Happy Holidays.
