On a regular basis it seems, our cars get mistaken for a Monte Carlo SS. Hell, I even got a parking ticket left on my car made out toe a "Black Monte Carlo SS". Well, last night, I was driving home in the Chevelle, and I pulled up behind a Jet Black Monte, with the following custom tag:

Not-A-GN

I got a little chuckle out of it.... Not something I really expected. Just thought I'd share. :)

and her digital camera was no place to be found huh. it always happens like that..

thats funny though!

FWIW & IMHO:
I've got a little bit different spin on this situation:
Of all the people that ask/comment about a GN being a Monte, or the opposite, A Monte being a GN, I think that about 80 % really know what the car is. I think that they know that GN owners don't like their cars being mistaken for Montes, and that Monte owners don't like their cars being mistaken for GN's. When I am posed with this scenario, I generally reply: Un-huh, '87 Aerocoupe, and they generally figure out soon thereafter that the jig's (no pun intended) up. I knew that we were a little overly sensetive about that, what I did not know is that they are sensetive about it also. The guy with that liscense plate frame mentioned up above has been stroked more that a few times.

why would he waste the money on that tag? it's not like any of us would be seeing it!! lmfao. :D :D
