I went to from coil pack setup to dist setup of course I have a fast xfi system. dynoed the car today with the dist. setup and I lost had 20 hp and the cam sych. light keeps coming on (check engine light) I had more hp last year with the waste spark system (stock coil setup) is their is something i did wrong or need to correct the dist setup to gain my hp back plus some please help. thanks

-20 HP could be from many things. Different air temps/humidity. Different Dyno, different gas, dyno operator, etc, etc.

I'm guessing if you went to the distributor and XFI you have some mega HP..so -20HP is not a huge loss.

Did you log any of your dyno runs?
