Werid transmission sounds

I have a 4L60E in my truck i was wondering if any of you guys might know anything about it. I was doing 25 mph and all of a sudden it made a loud clunk and then it started to wine and it doesn't have reverse. It only does 25 mph at 3000 rpms what do you think it is

The sunshell splines are most likely stripped. Trans has to come out and apart to fix it.

Well i knew it was going to have to come apart i just wasn't sure what it was going to be i was thinking it was the planetary gears but i wasn't sure so i am going to get a pro super rebuild kit from TCI that is supposed to increase kick down and make it shift firmer and i figured for $50.00 more i wanted to do it right when i had it apart
