The Buick Shootout and Team Challenge at LACR in Palmdale, CA is the last racing event of the year for the BGNRA is October 5th, 6th & 7th, 2001!!
LACR is givng the Buick Club a $10.00 discount for entry at the gate, so make sure you mention you are there for the Buick Racing Event.
Please see the following for important information:
Test & Tune, Friday, Oct. 5 - Gates open at 5:00 p.m. and racing 'til 10:00 p.m. There will be a special Buick Trophy Class. All cars welcome. The entry cost for Friday, Oct. 5 is $5.00 for crew, $15.00 for car & driver. THESE PRICES ARE FOR FRIDAY ONLY.
Gates open Saturday, Oct. 6, at 9:00 a.m. with racing until 5:00 or 6:00 p.m.
Gates open Sunday, Oct. 7, at 9:00 a.m. with racing until 5:00 or 6:00 p.m.
Bracket #4 (14 sec +)
Bracket #3 (13 to 13.99)
Bracket #2 (11 to 12.99)
Bracket #1 (below 10.99)
Bracket style racing, NHRA rules, No box
Minimum 80% payout in brackets & 1st round buy-back $20.00
Brackets #3 & #4, closed muffler
Sunday EFI & Carb. brackets & heads up for qaualified Quick-16 cars.
Directions:
Los Angeles County Raceway (LACR) is east of I-14 in Palmdale. Take I-14 to Palmdale Avenue and go east approximately 5 miles to Avenue T. Turn left on Avenue T for 1 mile, track is on the right.
*** The official event hotel is the Palmdale Holiday Inn located one block west of I-14 on Palmdale Avenue. Call (661) 947-8055 no later than September 21, 2001 and ask for the Buick Shootout & Team Challenge Package or Code Name BSO; Rate is $59.00 for single, $64.00 four double and $ $98.00 for a suite. Hurry, only a limited number of rooms are available.

Note: Due to BGNRA not renting the track for this event, each racer and spectator will be charged $10.00 each at the gate each day. This is half price, you must indicate you are in the buick race or you will be charged $20.00 a day. These fees are not charged in our bracked & quick 16 registration package.
