I figured a search would be good, but the information might be out-dated.So I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask as of currently, what is your opinion on this kit?

Has it faired you well?

Is it easy to tune?

Is it worth the money?

Have you encounted problems?

Any major gain from progressive pumps?(My understanding is that SMC just adds alky all at the same time)

I ask this because I was offered a SMC alky kit and up-pipe for 275$ and I'd like to know if it will be worth it. Its either get this now for cheap, or wait for a different kit.

This is going to be for a street app, with a TE-44 and 50lb injectors.

I like it...Steve is a good guy and will help you out with any problems...Razor's kit is definitely awesome too and very available to ask questions and get advice...can't go wrong either way...I've just stuck with the SMC kit since they were the first out there and I've never had anything bad to say about the kit...my car runs on almost 27 psi on pump gas with no knock...must be doing something right...and it's not even a progressive system!

I was initially a huge fan, but after having it apart last night for another repair, I'm less enthusiastic. It's failed on me several times over the years. A pump and several wiring issues. Knock at 30 PSI is really scary.

Steve is a great person to do business with and I know if you send back the unit he will rebuild it or upgrade it with the better options he has now. Did for us. Just an idea. I have read a lot of Razor's helpful information and think he has a nice product as well.

I've had both. Buy Razors kit, its worth it. Not bashing Steves kit at all, its nice, but I really think Razors is a little better.
