LOL! I just need to quit fooling myself and shave what little hair I have off. Last time I did that was at ARMY Basic Training. That was over 25 years and 40 pounds ago!

In spite of how crazy it gets, I look forward to seeing everyone at BG. I think it's 4 weeks from today!

400hp on a jet ski on the water ... why does 90mph seem so low?

Impressive to say the least ---

It's just like trying to add more mph to a drag car. The faster you go, the more hp it takes to pick up another mph. I think it is even worse on water since there is even more resistance. It usually takes around 250hp in this hull to reach 74-75mph and 300hp to reach 80mph.
Keep in mind also, that it is a prop driven directly off the crankshaft. So prop rpm's are limited to engine rpms. In order to go faster you either need to turn the engine more rpm's or put more pitch in the prop. I still have a lot to learn in this area, but am fortunate to have one of the best prop guys somewhat local.
I just ordered an aluminum intake so I can run more boost and will be installing an alkycontrol kit on it this weekend. This way I won't have to run race gas when I turn the boost up.

Nice work Cal! Now this all makes sense....when I phoned the other day you were on the jetski lol.
Maybe throw the x-ski tune in my XFI......:D
