What dia. determines TV BOOST VALVE size?

I have a 2004R and want to know what size boost valve is in it, what dia. will tell me this? Thanks

A stock boost valve in a BRF trans is .471 in. diameter. Typical aftermarket larger valves are .500 in. diameter

Ok, but is that .471 or .5" OD at the two lands of the sleeve? Thanks

The main TV Boost Valve only has one diameter dimension; same on both lands.

The Low Reverse Boost valve has two diameters. The larger end being the part that normally varies.
