finally installed the Alky controller in the dash (Kirbans)..... liked the no defrost option before, even more now that it made for a cleaner install for my Alky system. Also, washed and waxed her and took her for a spin to the park...

Pulled out the windshield washer pump and confirmed it was bad. Ordered a new one for 13 bucks on rockauto, saw a NOS part for a 100 on ebay, no thanks.

Went to our local cruise in. Lots of cars. They were " racked , stacked and packed " -- I mean there were tons of enthusiasts and nice rides. Finally met some fellow TB brothers, very nice fellows too with some very nice examples of the type. So, this time there were three of us . Couldn't park together, though, because it was so crowded. Hoping that next week, the fourth one of our local banditos can attend. Would be sharp as hell to have 4 cars all together to wow the crowd.
Actually met the father of one of the members here. Really nice man. Said his son had a GN and told me where he lived. I mentioned his name and he said "Wow, how'd you know?" Told him I had been corresponding with him for quite some time . Met two fellow coworkers from a previous job Parked next to me.I haven't seen either of them in over 25 years. Was sittimg right next to them and didn't even recognize them. Did a lot of reminiscing and gear head talking. Man, it's a small world. Kinda glad it is. Not only are hot rods cool, but they bring people together. I think that maybe that's what it's all about in the first place.

Replaced the cheap spectre filter with a s&b filter after seeing that thread where the chrome button got sucked into the intake.

I cut in GNX fender vents. First had to Hydro Dip them in Carbon Fiber. So technically, not all done today.
Forgot to take a pic of the inner fender trim rings but I carbon dipped those too.

got my alky system installed on the tta along with a power logger. put the ally controller in the instrument cluster bezel and painted it black. different look than the grey (don't worry bought one from a ta and kept the original).

Started valve spring change. I dont have a way to measure the origionals but I can tell you the new ones I got from Bison are a whole hell of a lot stiffer lol. Hoping to help my top end power. Also installed new boost control from Lorenz Racing that Ive had for months.
