Straightened out my off center steering wheel. Damn alignment shop did not center the steering wheel after fixing my alignment

Sand blasted and painted my radiator support.

Now if only I could find two fan connectors without wires. Matches the maradyne connectors, but I only want the connectors, not the entire pigtail. Can't find them. I can only find them on Ebay, but they cost more than the pigtail does, which is odd.

Well, went out to check my GN.....battery dead...will not charge......my fault.....them put on my new aluminum brake drums.....the whole rear brake assembly was rebuilt by me, so all it needed was the drums......they do not look so good behind my American Racing Torque Thrust IIs so looks like I'll have to paint them black....next step is to remove both front and rear bumpers, put the aluminum inserts in them, add the new long bumper strips, get the fillers painted then reassemble....finding someone to paint the fillers around here has been a bitch...thousands of other things to do to the GN, but will not even think about it at this point.....too mind boggling for me.....and I'm getting old TOO fast.......did sit in the GN and made turbo noises with my nose. Miss the hell out of driving it!

Installing a freshly rebuilt transmission(built by David Husek) and his 9.5" 2800 LU converter with a Hughes deep pan(from Nick Macale). A few days ago, I added an external cooler in addition to the radiator cooler. Can't wait to let 'er rip after the break-in process.

Well, apparently the paint I used for the upper rad support is some strange shit. It is still malleable/soft today. I did use my heat gun to flash it so no dust should stick to it. It sat for 22 hours, could still print it with my fingers. So I stuck it outside in the sun, hung off my truck mirror. Black truck, black painted support, was about 145° for 2 hours. Hopefully that helps it cure. Will do it again tomorrow if need be. Looks really good in all honesty for just spray paint.
Adhered the fan mounts to the fans after modifying them, gotta let them cure too.

After collecting parts for a few years, and never having time to work on it, sent it to Richard Clarks Garage to have them finish it. Met Sydwinder at the strip and put one pass on the car got a 7.3 in the 1/8th @ 20 lbs of boost. Would have loved to stay and play with it, but in the process of moving so did one run and brought her home. I'll do a write up later after I'm settled in but want to do a shout out to Turbo Lou, for a hell of a mutton motor, and Richard Clarks Garage and Clint and everyone there for finishing Rosie!

Hagerty quoted 3K a year, still waiting to hear back from Grundy and American Collectors Insurance. I have a feeling American Collectors is going to deny me.

Yeah. I had a minor accident 3 years ago, a van pulled out in front of me but I was found at fault. No speeding tickets on my record.

Under normal insurance the car will only be insured for like 2k. Need a agreed value historic car policy. Not all state farm agents do it. If one doesnt try another

Maybe you should look into an antique plate if your state offers it. That would limit your driving to spring/summer months. Might reduce your insurance premiums. I have State Farm in Illinois and pay about $500/year for the GN (agreed value $30k), $600/year for a 2002 Sebring, and $150/year for a 1982 280zx turbo. But I'm 57 y.o. and don't live in a big city like Chicago or it's suburbs.

Try Philadelphia Insurance Company. Grundy Worldwide is a division of Philadelphia Insurance. When I took out a new policy last year I tried Grundy first but was denied. Then tried Philadelphia Insurance and was accepted. All my paperwork has the name Grundy on it. Strange but true..

As long as you have a clean driving record classic car insurance should no way cost you anywhere near 3k a year for one car.
